Runway shows

CIMM (Montreal’s Fashion Mart) works very closely with companies in the fashion industry to promote their designers and collections. In order to do so, we organize runway shows every year during Fashion Week, which take place in the Fall and again in Spring. These shows are sometimes held on-site, under the Midi Fashion theme, or off-site, at locations such as Marché Bonsecours during Montreal Fashion Week.

Our Fashion Shows represent one of the many initiatives we, at CIMM (Montreal’s Fashion Mart), take to promote known designers and to unveil upcoming trends with respect to the buyers, local and international media. It’s our way of encouraging creativity in our quarters. We are proud to display newcomer designs and while intertwining their exposure with the showing of Quebec collections during our Fashion Shows.

We, at CIMM (Montreal’s Fashion Mart), presented a designers collective show highlighting the work of Zenobia Bawa, Ronen Chen & Simon Chang. These three designers presented their 2012 Spring-Summer lines during Montreal Fashion Week.

Midi Fashion shows 2010

Following the success of the first edition of the Midi Fashion in 2009, the Montreal’s Fashion Mart repeated the experience last year. The Midi Fashion 2010 presented the 2011 Fall-Winter collections on March 2 and 3, 2010, and the Spring-Summer 2011 collections on September 28 and 29, 2010.

Midi Fashion shows 2009

In 2009, the collective runway show and the collective designer show were merged under a new concept, which proved to be a great success, and is now called Midi Fashion.

 

Midi Fashion was launched on March 3, 2009, with the presentation of the Fall-Winter 2009 collections.
